THE LOLA T332C

For the third year in a row Brian Redman won the SCCA/USAC F5000 Championship for Lola.
(The Lola Archive)

Following the ultra-successful T332 was not going to be easy especially as the 1975 chassis was still more than capable of winning so Lola opted for a few changes/tweaks suggested by Carl Haas and Jim Hall from lessons learned following their season with Brian Redman in the 1975 SCCA/USAC F5000 Championship. To acknowledge this the new car was called the T332C with the "C" standing for Chaparral.

Not surprisingly, in view of the continued competitiveness of the T332, only eight cars were built and sold although some T332 owners updated their car to the new spec.

Details of the suggested changes can be seen below in the letter Jim Hall sent to Eric Broadley and the final Lola document details the changes actually carried out showing the suggestions were adopted.

Lola dominated the 1976 SCCA/USAC F5000 Championship winning five of the seven rounds with Brian Redman taking three victories in the T332C to become champion (two more going to the T332).
