Looking at a 2015 XR 700 XT EPS. Having a hard time finding reviews on it, especially positive ones. Thoughts on this machine?

Are they "sportier" feeling than the old chassis? How's power feel compared to old?

According to a Dirt Trax review the chassis is better then the old one. I can't tell if thats correct, this is my first AC . Engine is the 'old' 700. Drove a 565cc Landfighfer Conquistador before this one and my XR is much more powerfull so I am happy with the hp. Very comfortable to drive for hours.

I see your from aurora so your not to far from Duluth if you get down this way I know Rj has a demo 700 there I'm sure you could take it for a ride. I know it's not the best place to test but might help get you an idea how it handles. I've been meaning to take it for a ride just haven't had time yet. But I've heard good things.

We ended up buying the one at RJ and we love it so far! We are going to try to put as many miles on it as we can over the next few months.

I've got close to 300 miles on my XR 700 limited. I really like it so far. The power is pretty good for a single I wouldn't say its superb or anything. Machine could do around 65mph with the factory tires on it which is enough for me. Now with 28" silverbacks, my secondary clocked and my exhaust modded it will do about 53mph. The ride and handling and clearance is what I really like about it. With my tires and my springs cranked up I have 15.5" to my front skid plate, it also towers over all my buddies Can ams with similar mods.

Should have started a new post. But go through and check all your clamps and boots on your housing exhaust and intake. I had a 2014 that was missing the exhaust tube completly.
